The Wing Thing

That's one of the names of the choices for the CoT. I think that would be appropriate.

Bristol was a SNOOZE fest. What happened to beatin' and bangin'?

The condition of the cars after hitting the wall, didn't give me any faith in the CoT, either. Did anyone see around lap 44, where Jarrett hit the wall wing first? The deck lid and all of it, fell off in one swoop! Not very encouraging.

Not only did rookies like David Ragan take stupid chances, by racing the faster cars, a lot of the veterans got loose and made some passes that weren't too swift.

Grip, grip and more grip...that's all a lot of drivers couldn't stop talking about on their radios. Track bar was up, then down...then up, then down... It never seems to work out for anyone...except for Kyle Busch, who managed to crank out a win.

I am NOT a fan of the CoT. I don't think that there will be any real action on the short tracks. In fact, I had a great nap on and off..a nice snooze.

Hopefully when I see the CoT at Dover, it will not let me down.

I hope NASCAR knows what they're getting into with 'The Wing Thing', as I now like to call it. Now that I think about it, I'd like to call it the snooze bar, in honor of that stupid wing.

I'm sure many others feel the same way. On to Martinsville...

It's BRISTOL BABY!

I never really liked this track, but I have grown to like it. All the controversy, the anger, the competition and the wrecks...well, it all grew on me.

I have not yet seen one of these races in person, but I hope that some kind soul will one day sell me a ticket, or let me come with them!

I'll have a report on my observations and news and anything else I can think of by Monday.

Let's hope there is some real good competition between the rookies and the veterans. That should stir things up!

Welcome to my world...

I was on a website that will be named maybe atleast once: frontstretch.com

I really don't think that anyone should spend any time on that site, but to go to independent sites and blogs like this one here.

I will be commenting on NASCAR and how I see it.

Controversy, competition and other things in the news will be written about.

Feel free to comment, but flames will NOT be returned. Even though I want to SO much...it wouldn't prove anything.

I'm just getting set up...so there will be a LOT more to come...

Stay tuned...
