Battle of the Beverages: Pocono.

MAN...Bud vs Miller Lite. Since I don't drink beer, that means nothing to me. But, it means the WORLD to those two sponsors.

The win could have been Earnhardt Junior's. He hasn't won since May 2006, in Richmond.

He still says that he can do it...that his team can do it. Well, if someone wouldn't sabotage his cars, maybe he could.

No doubt, the number 2 Dodge had an amazing set up and were blazing on to the finish. Pat Tryson migrated from Roush Fenway, to Penske to become Busch's new chief. Maybe his knowledge will transfer to this car. Who knows. I wouldn't call him equal to Greg Zippadeli, or Chad Knaus, but he could have something here.

Denny Hamlin, a two time winner at Pocono, had something for those two, but couldn't pull it out in the end. He told ESPN that next time, "it will be a whole other ball game." Maybe so. I think the great shop and engineer guys, would give him something to contend with at another oval.

Hendrick driver Casey Mears was running up front, even keeping a pace with Junior, who was racing him hard. Can't say the same for Johnson. He fell back 450 points, with his wreck at Indy. He gained a few places, but is hopeful to make it to the Chase.

The 2 car is back, huh? We'll see about that. I'm sure all the other teams are bringing up their game, starting at the Glen next week.
